Superior Court Administrator

The Superior Court Administrator receives administrative direction from the Superior Court judges. The incumbent exercises direct supervision over professional and clerical staff. The Court Administrator assumes management responsibility for all services and activities of the Superior Court.

The Island County Superior Court Administrator's office is open 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday. North Whidbey residents can reach Court Administration at 360-679-7361. Camano Island residents may call the courthouse toll-free at 360-629-4522, ext. 7361. From South Whidbey, the toll free number is 360-321-5111, ext. 7361.

You may direct District Court jury questions to the Jury Manager in Superior Court up to two days before the date you are to appear. After that, contact District Court at 360-675-5988.

Access to Administrative Records

Consistent with the principles of open administration of justice as provided in article I, section 10 of the Washington State Constitution, it is the policy of the judiciary to facilitate access to administrative records. A presumption of access applies to the judiciary’s administrative records. Access to administrative records, however, is not absolute and shall be consistent with exemptions for personal privacy, restrictions in statutes, restrictions in court rules, and as required for the integrity of judicial decision-making. 

Access shall not unduly burden the business of the judiciary.
